Is CustomSubs really free?▼
Yes, CustomSubs is 100% free with no ads, no paywalls, and no freemium tricks. We believe privacy-respecting utilities should be accessible to everyone.
Why should I trust CustomSubs with my financial data?▼
You don't have to. CustomSubs never sends your data anywhere. All information is stored locally on your device. We have no servers, no cloud sync, and no way to access your data. You can export your data as JSON anytime.
How do notifications work without internet?▼
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device using the operating system's native notification system. They fire even when you're offline, in airplane mode, or without internet.
What happens if I lose my phone?▼
You can export your subscriptions as a JSON file to iCloud, Google Drive, email, or local storage. When you get a new phone, just import the backup and you're back up and running.
Does CustomSubs work on Android?▼
Yes! CustomSubs has full-featured apps for both iPhone and Android.

Do you track my usage or sell my data?▼
We never sell anything, to anyone. Your subscriptions, amounts and notes never leave your phone, so there is nothing about them for us to sell. The app does send anonymous usage counts and crash reports so we can fix bugs, and you can switch that off in Settings under Share Anonymous Usage Data.
Can I import data from other subscription trackers?▼
We're working on import tools. For now, you'll need to re-enter your subscriptions (it takes about 30 seconds per subscription with our 42+ templates).
